Begin Therapy with Brittany
Important Information to Know First
-
I practice long-term, process-oriented therapy. Many clients appreciate the depths we are able to work at, as well as, the consistent, steadiness of the process.
Clients notice change overtime, and the growth they experience is long-lasting because they have worked through the issues rather than trying to get rid of the issues.
I’m not the therapist for you if you are looking for quick fix-it solutions or want to be done with therapy in 3 - 6 months.
Psychotherapy with me is place where your nervous system can settle in and feel safe. We’ll look at the unconscious patterns that are running your relationships and life.
Sometimes it will feel challenging. It’s hard to face difficult emotions and experiences. Other times, it may feel like an exhale.
This is a commitment of time, effort, and money. In return, I also commit to the work with you.
I keep a smaller caseload so that you can feel fully seen and know that our work together receives my full attention. Additionally, I spend time outside of our sessions consulting, training, and researching to ensure that I am able to provide you with the best support possible.
-
I meet with clients once-a-week at our regularly recurring time. There may be a point in our work together where I invite you to meet with me 2 or 3 times a week.
Clients have found that meeting more frequently feels grounding throughout their week.
I typically work Mondays, Thursdays, & Fridays 8am - 2pm Pacific (10am - 4pm Central).
Tuesdays & Wednesdays are typically reserved for rescheduled appointments.
-
I work with clients who reside in Kansas, Missouri, & Washington State.
Our sessions will be held on a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
You need to ensure you have a strong WiFi signal and a quiet space with privacy.
-
Individual Psychotherapy costs $220 per 50-minute session.
Extended sessions, such as 80-minutes or 100-minutes, will be prorated.
If you have them, you may use your insurance out-of-network benefits to receive reimbursement, as well as your FSA or HSA card to save on taxes.
-
If you are unable to attend your weekly appointment for any reason, we will reschedule. 48 hours notice is required.
Up to two free-late cancellations are allowed each year for illness or emergency; no reschedule necessary.
